CHALLENGE
Otterbein has multi-location facilities and had analog copiers and stand-alone printers from different manufacturers, in various locations, doing volume printing at excessive costs per page.

SOLUTION
BEC conducted an extensive analysis of the existing copying and printing structure, enabling Otterbein to review what was actually being spent on a cost-per-page basis. Prints in excess of 800K on 22 separate printers, and copies exceeding 2M annually, provided the opportunity for Otterbein to combine these functions and operate more efficiently.

BEC replaced Sharp, Konica, and Xerox copiers with Panasonic digital copier/printer units connected to their network, to provide copies and prints at substantially reduced rates. These Panasonic multifunction products saved Otterbein thousands of dollars per year due to the reduced cost per page. The annual savings accumulate as BEC continues to partner with Otterbein to provide DOCUMENT SOLUTIONS.
